Toby Freeman

Toby Freeman is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, TEDx Speaker, recipient of the British Citizen Award for Services to Healthcare and was recently bestowed with one of the highest honors in the Round Table International movement: the Medal of Honour.

Toby is also CEO of The Robin Cancer Trust, having founded the charity in 2012 in memory of his brother, who died aged 24 following a late-stage cancer diagnosis.

The charity’s mission is to stop young people dying from testicular and ovarian cancers, and Round Table has supported that mission on many occasions – from supporting events, fundraising, and helping to raise awareness across the world.

The dad of two young children said: “I joined Round Table because I wanted to be part of an organization that gave back to the community – having become aware of the amazing effort the guys put into organizing the Colchester Half Marathon.

“I’ve met so many inspirational people, who work tirelessly to give back to their communities and support their fellow members. Whether it’s organizing a massive community event, or just meeting up at the pub for a catch-up, Tablers will go out of their way to support you.

“I am constantly humbled by the support Tablers across the world have shown for The Robin Cancer Trust. I’ve had the opportunity to deliver life-saving awareness talks to members across the region. We sent a pair of testicles into space to launch Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, and this year we broke the world record for the most men checking themselves for Testicular Cancer at once!

“Round Table is a fantastic organization to be part of. If you want to combine good times with good friends and giving back – it’s the place for you.”
